Five moves, in order: create your property, complete it, share it, follow your stays, then see what guests are asking. Here is how to get your concierge working.
The 10 steps
Create your account. Sign up in a minute with your email and a password. The trial is free and asks for no card.
Create · paste your listing link. It is the first thing you see under “Create”, and it is the shortcut: paste the address of your Airbnb, Booking, Abritel or Vrbo listing, then run the import. Groom fills in the name, address, photos, amenities and first guide pages on its own.
Create · check the address, the surroundings and the photos. Just below, read back what the import filled in: street number, postcode, town, country, property type. Say whether you are by the sea or in the mountains — the concierge adapts its recommendations. Photos come at the end of the page.
Create · connect your calendar. Paste your listing's iCal link: stays arrive on their own, with their dates. Your guests then receive their QR code and arrival details before they come. The same setting is reachable from “Stays”.
Complete · walk through the five chapters. Your knowledge is filed under five chapters — Arrival & Departure, Amenities, Neighbourhood, Emergencies & Contacts, House rules. What Groom detected on its own appears indented beneath the relevant page: appliances under “Kitchen and amenities”, audiovisual under “Wi-Fi and multimedia”.
Complete · let yourself be interviewed. Open “Enrich my property”: Groom asks you the questions that are missing, one at a time, and writes the pages from your answers. A completeness indicator, discreet at the foot of the page, shows what is left.
Share · your web page. We create a web page for your property. Your guests find their welcome booklet there and can ask the concierge questions if they wish. Turn it on so they can reach it.
Share · QR codes and welcome booklet. Print your QR codes — card, table stand, A5 or poster — to place in the property. Generate the welcome booklet as a PDF for those who prefer paper.
Share · ready-made messages and a sharper listing. Pick up the copy-and-paste messages for your guests — booking confirmation, arrival details, departure reminder. And let Groom rewrite your listing description in your own voice, before and after side by side.
Analyse · see what you are being asked. Once your first guests have come and gone, “Analyse” shows you the themes of their questions — Wi-Fi, amenities, arrival conditions — and the real volume of exchanges. That is where you see what to complete first.
Do not forget
Test your assistant. Before sharing the QR code, talk to your groom the way a guest would, to check its answers.
Know what your assistant will never say. Your personal contact details are never given out, the exact address stays hidden before booking, the Wi-Fi only arrives the day before check-in, and access codes only if the stay is confirmed. These rules apply by themselves; you can read them again from “Create”.
Invite a guest, create a stay. From “Stays”, create a stay and invite the guest by email or text. With the calendar connected, stays arrive on their own — all that is left is to fill in the contact details.
Install the app and turn on notifications. Install Groom on your phone in one tap, without going through an app store, and turn on notifications to be alerted.
Manage several properties. Add as many properties as you need and switch between them in one click from the left-hand column.
Manage your subscription. Keep track of your plan, your invoices and your renewal date. No commitment, cancel at any time.
